Like many things, your project starts with a vision. First, determine what your desired outcome is and the requirements you need to full-fill this. Consider the style you would like to achieve and collate any images of designs that appeal to you. This background knowledge will allow me to create the best design outcome for your needs. Don’t forget to consider your budget as well.

The initial contact can either be through email, text, direct call or request a call back through this website service.
Our first conversation will allow us to discuss the project brief and give me an understanding on the scope of work required which enables me to provide you with an estimated quote on the drafting services.
Onsite Visit

An onsite visit can be organised if required for the job. Instances in which an on site is preferable includes:

meeting clients face to face

understanding existing conditions

measuring of existing dwelling and site
Design Stage

This is when I build your design taking into consideration everything you have provided me through our interactions. After 1-2 weeks i will provide you with a first preliminary design. At this point we review the design and make any adjustments in collaboration if needed. Once the preliminary plans have been approved by the client any extensive changes thereafter may incur an additional fee.
COMPLETED PLANS

Whether your plans are for Town planning or to obtain a building permit the client will receive a full scale set of plans with all relevant and required information to make your approval process efficient as possible.
EXTERNAL CONSULTANTS

External Consultants are part of the clients obligation to obtain approvals. At Dzign Drafting we can offer a direct link to these consultants and will engage these services on your behalf when required.
Consultations can include:
Town Planner, Building Surveyor, Engineering, Land Surveyor, Energy Rating, Soil Report Landscape Design
Arboricultural Report etc...
APPROVALS & PERMITS

At this stage plans can be provided by the client to your local council or a private building surveyor. Dzign Drafting will discuss these options to the client to ensure you are well informed and supported through this phase.
CONSTRUCTION

Once the client has been notified of approval the project can launch into the construction phase with the builder of their choice.
